- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I swear, I hope nothing ever serious ever happens to me in the town of Marysville, WA. I've called the Marysville Police for non-emergency issues ( however, people breaking the law) and the police NEVER show up. Once I had a crazy person in the street stop my car and throw a ball at my windshield, I pulled over and called the police, but they never showed.... this time I called about a group of guys having 3 dogs off leash across the street from my house and I couldn't walk my dogs. I took a video of them after I asked them to leash their dogs and they refused, so I called the police. The guys were there for an hour and 1/2 with those dogs off leash and the police even called after 45 minutes and told me they were on their way, but they still NEVER showed up. I took a video of the dogs off leash. I have ZERO confidence in the Marysville Police giving a damn about anything. I pay my taxes like everyone else and all they can say is " We prioritize our calls". Good luck people of Marysville ! You may never be a priority. and why is it that I see groups of Marysville Police cars parked at the local coffee shop ???By Donna Trevino, September 17, 2017

- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Marysville Police are well known to be very aggressive and if you go 3 mph over the speed limit, you may be targeted for a speeding ticket, including bicyclists. Speed limit signs may be very close to each other from 88th street South on State Street by the Co-Op, the speed does change from one limit to another, so watch the signs. If you are stopped and have an attitude, expect a big response fast. Marysville PD does not take any BS from anyone and as I mentioned, if you have attitude issues you may meet the entire force during a car stop. To their credit, they deal with tons of issues from the tribal area nearby as well as tons of drunk and drugged drivers, and people just being stupid. Like any town, Marysville has issues with non residents and residents also. Overall, I give them a 3 star rating.
